ZAC & ONYX cocker spaniel & cat to Indianapolis, IN, USA

Hi Lisa, Just a note to let you know that Zac and Onyx arrived safely.  Zac bounced out of his crate as if nothing had happened, though Onyx was a bit distressed by the journey, and has not quite settled down yet.  He takes a few steps outside but is fazed by the different bird sounds and surroundings. I'm sure he will settle soon.
Thanks so much for all your hard work.

Regards
Frances Nelson

Hi Bruce, I just wanted to let you know the animals are all settled and well. I really appreciate all your help to get them over here. When we picked them up they looked like they travelled well despite what must have been a scary journey for them!

MINNIE maltese dog to Perth, WA, Australia

Dear Lisa and Bruce, THANK YOU!!
I am so pleased that we found Venture Pet to transport Minnie (our wee Maltese) from Auckland to Perth.  There was so much to do with our relocation process but your professional, reassuring and seamless service was faultless!!  I would recommend you to anyone wanting to relocate their beloved pets.  Margaret was an absolute superstar at the drop off point in Auckland even though I was in floods of tears she made me feel 100% confident everything was going to be ok. And it was.  Minnie was waiting to be collected 1.5 hours after the flight landed in Perth just as you said and she was just fine.  In fact she loves it here in Fremantle and has settled right in not at all showing any signs of upset from the journey.  Thank you All.

Kind regards,
Blanche and Minnie

PHOENIX birman kitten to Singapore

Hi Lisa, Phoenix has arrived safe and sound. I picked him up from the airport and had him checked and vaccinated by the vet at Changi; he purred the whole time, and spent the car ride home alternately dosing and yelling that he was hungry, LOL.
I’ve settled him in his own room for the night – he was in the mood to play, but I’m hoping he’ll drift off to sleep, as it’s the small hours of the morning here and I’m heading to bed in a few minutes.
Thank you so much for all your help with getting our little boy to us.. We really appreciate it.

Cheers,

Karen

GIMBAL cat to Melbourne, VIC, Australia

Hi Guys,
Just to let you know that after a quiet flight across to Melbourne, Gimbal has arrived safe and sound.  We landed about 20 minutes early, and went straight to the Qantas freight terminal and only had to wait about 15 minutes there before being sent to collect her at the warehouse.  She was understandably a bit scared but not overly stressed.  It seemed to be all older men there and they made a fuss of her.  Once in the car she celebrated with a gigantic pee!   Now she just has to get used to the great big birds (crows and cockatoos) that sit on the handrail and watch her through the glass!

Thanks for everything,
Cathy Wright and Gimbal

POPPY cocker spaniel to London, UK

Hi Lisa and Bruce
Poppy arrived 5 minutes before we did at our London address - and we were amazed how happy and chilled she was when we first saw her. We were absolutely stoked and credit alot of that to your wonderful handling of her from Wellington to London. Given her timid and sometimes anxious nature we were really worried about how the travel might affect her but it seems all of our worries were in vain. We were also suprised to find that all of the bedding and toys she had in her crate arrived at our new home with her too. Other than being rather hungry and quite thirsty she hasn't seemed to be bothered at all by the trip. Our reunion was a pretty happy one and her and our 16 month old have barely been separated since. Looks like Poppy is also going to be a big hit with the local kids too - of which we have already had a visit to meet "their" new local dog!
Once again thank you for such wonderful support and service. If we travel with her again, you will be our first port of call and we will recommend you to anyone else we know that is travelling with a pet.

Kind regards
Poppy, Amelia, Becs and Shay

SOOTY cat to Geneva, Switzerland

Hi Lisa, she is here!  Currently having a good old explore around a couple of her new rooms.  She was pretty unhappy at the cargo depot but now she is home she seems to be better now she has some distractions.  Certainly had worked up a bit of an appetite on the journey I think!  Hopefully she settles in fine after her very long trip.
Thank you so much for your help with getting her here

Cheers

Jean is beside herself and keeps saying she cannot believe they are here.. Today I understand a walk to the local village is on the cards. Once again thanks for all your help.

ROCKY & SEVERUS cats to New York, USA

Thanks, Lisa - boys are now with us in beautiful condition and happy to be with us.  The operation took 4 hours return trip - Lufthansa Cargo phoned to ensure we'd be there by 5pm so we left at 4pm and through horrendous traffic got there by 5pm to be told that the plane wouldn't arrive for another 45 minutes and we had to wait.  The paperwork from the plane didn't come through until well after 6pm and then it was a 15 minute drive to Customs, the rigmarole there, and 15 minutes back to wait for an attendant to process the payment and to take David's photo so they'd give the cats to the right person!  Then on to the pick-up place (where they weren't in the least interested in checking D's photo) and the 45 minute drive back to Manhattan to arrive home just after 8pm.  There was another woman from New Jersey picking up a cat which had come from Rotorua - she was lucky in that the person she talked to by phone at Lufthansa Cargo told her not to come to the airport until at least 6pm because she shouldn't turn up until at least 45 minutes after the plane had landed what was quoted for the car service because of the (I've gone into this much details so that you can pass on our experience to other clients in the future.)  The boys aren't interested in eating yet but are drinking gallons of water.  I suspect they don't like the food I've given them as they're very fussy, but if they feel hungry, they'll eat!

Thank you again for doing a wonderful job of looking after our boys.
Best,
Adrienne

ISIS, BREE & DASH boxer & cats to Perth, WA, Australia

Hi Bruce, From all of us in the Griffith family we would like to thank you and your wonderful team for the amazing job you did in delivering our animals safely to Australia for us!!!!!From the first phone call, email and having to co-ordinate with our friends in New Zealand (that were looking after our animals) your customer service was beyond excellent.  We had faith in Venture Pets from day one and were glad we chose you!  Isis (the dog) was well looked after, walked and played with while in your care. Bree and Dash (the cats) were so well taken care of they didn't seem to phased by the whole process. We have already recommended you to others and will continue too.  Thank you again so much for bringing us all together so smoothly...good luck for the future!!!

THOMAS & JACK cats to London, UK

Hi Lisa, Collected Jack and Thomas from Heathrow this morning.. timed it just right and only had a 10 minute wait for them. They were understandably looking a little subdued initially but made their voices heard.. loud and clear for most of the 2 hour journey back to Colchester!
They don't appear to be too phased by their new surroundings here at home either and are settling in well.
Thanks so much for all your care and your very efficient , professional and supportive service! I felt very happy that my 'boys' were well cared for from departure in NP from Dads until collection in London today.  I shall definitely be recommending you!
Thanks again.. its lovely to have them back here safe and sound! Description: Smile

OPAL & PABLO rainbow lorikeets to Sydney, NSW, Australia

Thank you for all the help and support you provided in getting Pablo and Opal to Australia. Bruce was at your office to take charge of my feathered friends at a very unreasonable hour for him. The Birdies were fresh and frisky at the Sydney end and the process was smooth and efficient with more helpful people and my sister who welcomed me with flowers.
They have settled happily into their new bird-house, room and country and even conducted a noisy and animated conversation with 'the local bird population' through my Mum's meshed window last week.

Many thanks again and best wishes
Vivien

MAGGIE MAY cat to Boston, MA, USA

Hi Lisa, Maggie May has arrived safe and sound.  I'm completely stunned - she has explored the whole house, played with things and is totally relaxed.  It's like nothing ever happened!  This would be amazing if we had just moved house within Wellington, let alone all the way to Boston.
I'm not sure if you ever have people emailing you asking for advice, but if any cat-owners ever need reassurance about sending their cat on a flight, I'd be happy to provide it.
Thanks so much to you and Bruce for taking such good care of Maggie.  It was worth every penny!

ROWDY, ISABELLA & RASCAL jack russell & cats to Sydney, NSW, Australia

Hi Bruce & Lisa,
Just to let you know, the pets arrived fit and well and were successfully picked up. Thanks for looking after them so well, they are settling in quite nicely.  One minor matter, when we went to collect them, in order to enter the Qantas freight terminal each person in our vehicle needed to provide I.D. As we had our 3 kids (they wanted to help get their pets) and they had no I.D. with them, they were forced to wait on the road outside the terminal until we had completed the pickup. You might want to advise others in future of this requirement.

Thanks again.

Cheers... James

Your team in Wellington were lovely to deal with and everything went as directed at the pickup end in Sydney , it really couldn’t have been easier. GIORGINA cat to Rome, Italy

Hi Lisa,
we have arrived and Giorgina is doing just fine. Thank you very much for everything. Basically picking her up proved quite a challenge: I had to move between dislocated offices to collect stamps, documents and make payments. A lot of hassle could have been prevented if the local shipping company (BOC, was that the name of this company?) would have taken care of the vet payment. They should have known the cost and the procedure. Had this been payed in advance (55 Euro) I would have saved having to go back to the post office at the terminal (3km away from the cargo area), pay there and go back with the receipt before the vet would have a look at the cat. Because of this the whole procedure took us 3 hours before we could leave the airport with tired children. The total cost was luckily not as high as you warned me against. The payments were:
Vet:5 Euro, BOC: 20 Euro, Customs:3 Euro
So thanks again, and we will surely recommend you if anyone needs to know.

Best regards,
Robert

MOLLY, ALFIE & TWINKLE kelpie cross, cross dog & cat to London, UK

Hi Lisa, my two dogs and Twinkle the cat have all been safely delivered to our home in West Sussex from Heathrow. The weather appeared to conspire against us however as it started to snow heavily about half an hour before their departure from Heathrow was due to occur. The dogs padded about in the snow tonight on their first English walk, wondering what this crispy cold stuff under their feet was. They spotted their first foxes and wait till they see a squirrel ! Squirrels are always way to fast up a tree for a dog, but it keeps the dogs entranced.
Thanks again for your floorless service. I would be more than happy to recommend you to any off my friends who may contemplate a similar move.

Kind regards
Tim Rowlands

ADZY cat to Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Hi Lisa
Adzy has arrived safe and sound in Holland! I'm so incredibly happy to have him with me again. :) And so is he, which is really good as well, especially since cats can also give their servants a cold shoulder for a while. Flying has also cured him from being afraid of driving in cars; the whole way he was relaxed and just a bit chatty. I'm sure he was telling me all about his trip.
We're now both at my best friend's place where he can (and will) stay until I have a place of my own. This means he has to share the place with her two cats, which I'm sure in time will go well. They've met, at least, and though there is some hissing and growling, there have been no fights so far. They seem more confused than anything, really.
Thank you so much for all the care and support you've given both of us! You and Venturepet are awesome, and I will surely recommend you to anyone else who wants to move their pet to or from NZ!

Thanks again, and a hug,
Elinn
ps. It's snowing here at the moment, and Adzy really enjoys watching the flakes. It's all new to him.

MEL cat to Sao Paulo, Brazil

Hi Lisa,
Mel is feeling great; she’s really cheerful and adapting quickly to her new home. Only problem is that I’ve got four dogs and we still haven’t introduced them properly. Every time Mel looks at my dogs she doesn’t get too happy at all, but that’s normal, soon they will all be fine and friends.
Mel arrived in Sao Paulo close to midnight and we only left the airport at 3am. Considering that it was a public holiday in Brazil and late night, we were actually quite lucky to get out of the airport with her on the same day. My dad had a guy in ABSA who helped us quite a bit. Due to Mel´s late arrival, he had to talk to Customs and MAF and hold them to clear Mel. They are supposed to be 24/7, in case any kind of live cargo arrives. But they leave around 10pm and you have to tell them before if you have something arriving late, so they wait for you.
When Mel arrived in GRU, ABSA guy was already close to the plane with te MAF vet, he was holding all the information and papers of Mel, they got the originals in the box, the vet took a look at her to make sure she was fine, signed documents and she was cleared. Then, me and ABSA guy had to go to Customs and I was interviewed by Customs Inspector. He asked me why I was bringing her over, if I bought her in NZ, why I was coming home, etc. They want to know if you are not bringing animals to sell. As Mel is only my pet, ‘for personal use’ I didn’t have to pay anything. Otherwise I would have to pay taxes.
After that I just had to pay a small amount (I think it was around 12 reais, sort of nz $10) for Infraero, Brazilian airports administrations and then I was able to get her from the Cargo warehouse. Took us 3 hours for that! And it was sort of quick.
I know we had to pay ABSA as well, I believe it wasn’t too expensive. They were really helpful and I think if they weren’t helping us we would have to wait for the next day to get her.
Thank you so much for everything! You guys were great as well!

Cheers,
Larissa

BOB & JACK Labrador & cat to Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Hi Lisa
Bob and Jack have been released and I was able to pick them 12pm. They were both pretty relaxed. Jack was his normal happy self and Bob was a bit overwhelmed by everything happening around them. The ladies @ Schiphol airport were lovely and very helpful. The boys were happy to be out of their cages and I guess will get used to their new home soon.
They both love their new Dutch life. And I so enjoy having them around again. There was no charge at Schipol airport. I also did not have to sign anything and they were just handed over to me with the customs documents. I got a query from a friend of a friend the other day requesting information regarding shipping a labrador to the Netherlands and I did recommend Venture Pet because of the good service, information and pricing.
Thank you so much for your excellent care and communication, that was much appreciated.

Cheers

TRUFFLE, TWINKELS & FUDGE pug & cats to Darwin, NT, Australia

A HUGE thank you again for getting our three babies to Darwin safe and sound.
Truffle is doing very well in Darwin.  She travelled really well and is acclimatising well to the heat, and it is HOT.  It’s 35–36 degrees every day now with humidity up to high 80s. The cats got off their flight like they had done nothing more than a quick trip down the road to the vet.  Truffle was a little more excited about seeking her parents again and according to the handler who signed her over to us, there is never any doubt which dog belongs to which group of people, they let you know, loudly!!!
The cats seem pretty happy to spend most of the day sleeping on the cool tiles or on the bed in the direct flow of the aircon. We have decided that they will be inside cats for the three years while we are here. It is just too dangerous to let them out.  We have croc infested mangroves right outside our back fence and we hear there is a pack of dingos nearby as well.
We have also found a nice vet, Truffle had her Leptosperosis Australis vaccine which she has had to have to protect her from the local strain that we don’t have in NZ.  They are also on a very strict heartworm prevention programme because that is a huge problem over here.  The vet says there is nothing to worry about though, as long as they get their monthly worming treatment they can’t get it.  We’ve also upped the tick and flea control to monthly (rather than every 6 weeks) and so far no creepy crawlies.
On weekends we take Truffle to a beach just outside of town which is dog safe (less danger of crocs or jelly fish) and that is where all the local doggies hand out.

All the best
Ilse

SUMO & RUBY griffons to London, UK

Hi Lisa
We have had a lovely weekend getting Ruby and Sumo settled in.
We collected them from the animal reception centre at Heathrow no problems at all on Friday and they were both very excited to see us.  Upon arrival at their new home, they had a thorough good sniff around and were introduced to their new kennel.
Both are extremely relaxed and happy - tomorrow will be the test as it will be the first day at home by themselves, but we have some big bones to keep them occupied.
Thank you very much for all the great care of Sumo and Ruby and the updates on their travels.
We are so pleased with the result and found the whole process really easy.
We have some friends moving over to England in 2012 with their cats, so we will definitely pass on your details to them.

Many thanks Lisa.
Warm regards, Kelly, Hayden, Sumo and Ruby

Dear Bruce & Lisa,
Just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you for looking after Holly and Sister.
Although the hop across the pond was nothing compared to their previous travels from the UK to Wellington,
Mark was waiting anxiously for their arrival in Sydney. Needless to say, Holly and Sister arrived in fine
feckle. They don't seem at all concerned about having traded the beach for a back yard (unlike us!!)

Kind regards

Hello Lisa,
Cass and jazz finally arrived Friday afternoon at 3-30pm and after an hour of more customs formalities we finally arrived home to Postira at 7-30pm.

As I type Jazz is lying beside the computer quite relaxed.
Thank you for all your help.

Dear Bruce & Lisa,
Thanks so much for getting everything together for me and liaising with Kate at Allvet - I have Blake all safe and sound. Great work. Had used you over the 8 years I was at Allvet or should I say recommended, and had cats and dogs as clients that had used you and always heard great things, But to actually be a client and feel the anxiety of whether they will be Ok flying and not being in the county to organise everything, is something else. So thanks again guys. Especially on your quick efficient service.

Despite him being a total drama queen, complete with hyperventilating, on the drive from the airport to my apartment, once he got here in less than an hour he’d had some food and water and was stretched out having a wee lie down....
Thank you so much for getting him safely to me, he’s really in much better shape than I expected so I’m very happy :)

SASHI springer spaniel to Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Hi!
Just a quick note to say Sashi arrived safe and sound in Schiphol this morning. I picked her up 2 hours ago, and she was a bit scared - first time on escalators in a train station - but she is fed and watered and now having a rest.
Thank you so much for all your help in getting her here, the service was amazing, and so easy, very assuring for a pet owner.
Thank you!
Nina Hi Lisa, I would like to thank you and your company too for the excellent service you have given us. It was great to be informed at every step of what was happening and we could in this way follow her trip around half the world. If only she could talk! Sashi arrived safe and well, but tired, according to Nina. Now she has got to get used to so many new things, Nina said she didn't like the escalator at the train station and had to be carried on that scary contraption!
It certainly felt like you gave us the personal touch and reassured us about what was happening. This reflects in all your work and that is why I chose your business in the first place.
Many thanks and our warmest appreciation
Mech White

Thanks again,

ROSIE golden retriever to Berlin, Germany
Dear Lisa,
Have you ever seen the biggest grin on a dog and a woman in tears at the same time!
Rosie has arrived - all safe and sound and no signs of jet lag as yet. She has jumped out of her cage and looks like she has been here for ever - even chased the neighbours cat over the back fence! She is wondering what the caw caws of the crows are and can't wait to explore tomorrow. I will take her to the vet I found tomorrow- just to check if there are any other vaccinations she requires.
She was delivered her here about 6pm, and she hasn't stopped grinning and wagging her tail since! She is fully alert and happy- eaten and drunken Ok,  but I think is starting to get sleepy now - it is only 46 hours since she left- AMAZING!
She looks fantastic - Thanks so Lisa and wish you were here to see her SO happy,-if you ever need any references call us cause we feel you  did a fantastic job- let alone all the set backs along the way!.
Kind regards,
Louise.

Many thanks Lisa - you've done a great job for us and Rosie (under, as you said, somewhat unusual circumstances).  Feel free to give us as a reference to anyone considering using Venturepet.
Regards

TULLA golden retriever to Shanghai, China
Hello Lisa,
Yes, my sweet natured pup is with us.  She arrived at 2am on Friday morning and was just so happy to see me.  We had a long stroll at 3am, then she slept for a few hours.  Friday morning she met the other dogs of the compound and got on famously.  You were right, she just took everything in her stride. The furniture arrived early Friday morning and I closed her into a bedroom.  She didn't even bark at the guys.
At present she doesn't let us out of her sight. Again, many thanks for your care and concern.

STORM weimaraner to London, UK
Lisa + Bruce
I just wanted to say a big thank you for all your time, trouble and effort in getting Storm to the UK. You probably guessed I was worried due to his recent big operation but I had full confidence in you with him.
He arrived full of beans. After a few days in his new home he is looking good and is very happy. We were very lucky that he flew when he did as you have probably heard that all flights into the UK have been stopped due to the volcanic dust from Iceland, and as yet they are not sure when any planes will be allowed to land or take-off. Many thanks once again, it was really appreciated.

NGEOW cat to Johannesburg, South Africa
Hi Lisa,
Thanks very much for the update on Ngeow. Glad to hear she is doing well; I suspect she'll be 'chatty' when she arrives here too. Qantas has been great, and were in contact last week to make sure we had clear instructions.  We'll call again tomorrow morning to confirm flight arrival time.  We'll definitely be in touch once we have Ngeow here.  Needless to say we have a couple of treats on hand to welcome her to her new home…
Ngeow arrived safe and sound on Wednesday evening.  She was a bit vocal for a while, but has started to settle into this strange new landscape.
Thanks again for the great service.  We'll be in touch in about 3 years time!

Cheers,

Georgina

Thanks Lisa, Glad to hear Scout and Koha arrived in US in good shape!  The whole family was very relieved to hear it.
I am sorry for taking so long to write.  It has been a crazy week, but we are making headway.  Scout and Koha arrived with no problems and their cages were totally clean!  They both looked stiff and a little dazed at first, but were absolutely back to their normal selves by evening.  I was really impressed, considering how far they had come.  They are both well settled now and are getting lots of love and attention.  Thank you for all you effort and coordination.  We could not have done this without you.

MAC, ROSIE & ALFIE jack russell cross, west highland terrier & cat to London, UK
Thank you so much Lisa. I missing them an awful lot, but I'm delighted they are settled and the whole process is starting for them. We are so grateful to you for a fantastic service, it has made it so much easier and less upsetting. We will definitely email you when we are in the UK.
Have a lovely day,
Adel

Have been in contact with the owners by phone…they all arrived here safe and well. Rosie is very well. She was a little down on arrival, but no surprise after being so long without her insulin. We are still fine tuning the insulin routine so that she can be on just one jab per day. That will be better for Rosie and the owners expenses.

BONZO labrador cross to Calgary, AB, Canada

Just brought him home 3 minutes ago. No dramas at Calgary at all. I had to pay a total of 81 $Canadian extra for the bonded warehouse and customs clearance.
Bonzo is quite well, very thirsty and hungry. I had taken some bread with me and gave him a full tankard of water. He is also a bit tired, nothing that a good nights sleep won't set right.
Thanks for all the smooth process Lisa, much appreciate your services. Highly recommed to anyone.
His leash was still with the cage which was good. I have brought back the cage home with me.

Thanks

Hi Bruce and Lisa Just to let you know - Kuma arrived safe and sound in LA.  To quote my brother-in-law ‘Kuma seemed unaffected by his journey. Peed like a horse outside of Qantas’

SCHNUURUN cat to Manila, The Philippines
Dear Lisa and Bruce,
Schnuurun has arrived safely and was delivered to us late Tuesday night.  She was hot, a bit disheveled and rather smelly!  Surprisingly, she was happy to submit to a shower and after some food and water, she settled down well, sleeping as usual on my bed.  This morning she met up with the rest of the family and she has been purring constantly enjoying all the attention!
Thank you very much for all your help in relocating her to Manila.  I am so happy to have her back with me.

With best regards,
Gloria Hung

ALLY & TOBY  labrador & german shepherd cross to Baltimore, MD, USA
Thanks Lisa,
We just got home from the airport, the dogs seem tired but are both very happy to see us. Both dogs look to be in good shape and they don't even smell (the rental car company will appreciate I'm sure). We think you run a well organised professional team. We also appreciate the extra work involved by your LA agent with the snow delays, thanks for taking the time to check what was happening on Friday and for babysitting them over the weekend. Hope you are all ready for the reverse trip in two years.

Cheers
Dwain and Lisa

RALPH & RONNIE dachshunds to Brisbane, QLD, Australia
Hi Bruce
A big thank you to you for organising to get Ralph and Ronnie to Brisbane for us this morning
They arrived safely and happy.  On asking Ross if they recognised him, he said "does being licked to death count as been recognised?" so I guess that is a yes, which is just fantastic after all this time apart.
The latest text from Ross this afternoon was "hmm back to sharing food!"
Once again many many thanks from both Ross, myself, Ralph and Ronnie. Robyn Knewstubb-Brown

Hi Lisa!
We're in the USA now and have had a happy reunion with the fur family!
They're all well and happy and look great!
You guys were awesome and took all the stress out of it all for us. Thanks so much for all the updates along the way, really was a load off my mind.
Cabbage and Friday have now made friends with our USA dog, and Miss Cabbage has stamped her authority over all (once again, shes such a bully!).
Thanks SO MUCH for everything - my best friend will be moving to usa in 2010 and shipping his cat over with ya'll, so I look forward to corresponding again with you!
Have a fantastic Christmas and New Years,
Cheers

LEO golden retriever to Madrid, Spain
Hi Lisa,
Thank you for thinking of him to the extent that you called Heathrow :) We've been thinking of him the whole time too. I'm really glad to hear he didn't suffer any ill effects from the flights and I'm quite sure he's enjoying his "spa day" in London before jetsetting into Madrid !
I'll be in touch when we've picked him up. I really appreciate the care you've gone to with Leo…
We finally got Leo at about 5pm on Friday - his flight was delayed and then we had a number of hoops to jump through for Customs. He was terrified poor chap but he had just come off a forklift.... He was overjoyed to see us and once we got down to the coast has slowly become his old self, so no long term damage :) We’ve been very pleased with everything you’ve done, thank you. It´s so good to have him back with us.
Leo is relaxing as I write this in his new bed having put his trip entirely behind him. His ear is repaired and he's back to his old self. He has discovered a new game - bunny chasing on the marsh near our house and leaps like a gazelle through the bush to keep up with them. He's a very happy dog :)
Thank you for everything. We'd have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone if you need it, which I doubt you do....  He's also ready for his next stop, hopefully France next year, with his new EU passport !
All the best and have a great new year

Kind regards Cheryl & family

Hi Lisa,
Everything went smoothly!  Neither Jake nor Lucy soiled their crates on any of the flights so at least they were relatively comfortable!  We are slowly getting settled here on the east coast.  Introducing Jake and Lucy to their four cat brothers has been interesting!

SHERRY & RAIDER huntaway cross to Brisbane, QLD, Australia
Hi Bruce and Lisa,
Raider and Sherry arrived safely and have been very busy exploring every inch of their new yard.  They were both so excited to see us again their tails almost went through the wall of the cage. It was so easy to pick them up from our end so you must have done all the hard work your end -- big thanks for that!
I think they must have been jetlagged when they arrived because they were so quiet in the car on the way home, but are now making up for it.
I think they must still be on N.Z time though because at 4am Friday morning they were up even before the birds and promptly went in to give the kids a wake up kiss, so here's hoping that their body clock adjusts quickly or they may just end up sleeping outside with the possums, snakes and spiders!  (ha ha ha). But seriously though apart from the early morning wake up calls it has been great to have the dogs back with the family, so thank you once again for making it a smooth journey to get the family reunited again.
I will certainly recommend you to anyone.

All the best and thanks once again

Sonja and Kenny Mudge

LUCY & OSCAR cats to London, UK
Hi Lisa and Bruce
Thank you for everything, just a quick note to let you know that Oscar and Lucy have arrived safe and sound.  Grant went to collect them from Heathrow this afternoon and they are now at home.  I have had several phone calls this afternoon so that I can hear them purr, and Grant said that they have been investigating the flat and have covered nearly every square inch already!  Oscar went straight from his travel cage to his bed, and Lucy straight for her food bowl - this is their usual behavior, so clearly they are no worse for wear after all their travels. Thank you again for all your help, and taking such good care of our fur babies.

Kind regards
Rachel and Grant

We'll be in touch again tomorrow once we have picked her up….
Picked up Kodi just after lunch today... she arrived safe and sound after her very long flights!!!

TIGGER, GARFIELD & BANDIT cats to Dohar, Qatar
Hi, The cats arrived yesterday morning and were surprisingly good after such a long flight.  They are looking great and seem quite relaxed already - Garfield assumed his usual spot on the sofa with feet in the air last night!   Daniel is enjoying following them around too.

Thanks for taking such good care of them for us.  Attached are a couple of pics.

SKYE cat to Honiara, Solomon Islands
hi there
Thanks Lisa, just wanted to let you know Skye arrived safe and well yesterday.  No probs picking her up at airport.  She was a bit subdued but very happy to see us and is increasingly comfortable and her old self, she’s eating and drinking well.
Skye seems fully restored, starting the morning by pouncing on my feet in bed then setting about reducing the gecko population inside the house.  We have a bell for her which should help reduce the amount of birdlife she is able to catch, but I fear the reptiles are in for a hard time.  It’s a good thing there is a veritable plague of them!
Thanks again for all your help

Cheers

Mark

OLLIE & TRINNY cat & staffy to London, UK
Dear Bruce and Lisa,
Ollie and Trinny's travels were hassle and stress free.  I felt very happy during the whole process because you kept us so well informed about their progress and whereabouts.  Ollie has relocated country before, with another company, and I felt nervous during the entire journey for him because we were not kept up to date with how things were progressing.  This time around it was reassuring being informed of their wellbeing, knowing that they had passed the vet's and paper checks and being kept up to speed with their latest destinations on their very long journey to London.

They both looked great when we picked them up, Trinny wanted to say hello everyone and Ollie was really pleased to have a cuddle all the way home in the car.  I was worried about how Ollie would be as he is 15 years old in December, but I needn't have because he looks great.  Something funny is that we have noticed that Trinny is suffering from jet lag!

Thank you for your wonderful service.
The Zamick family.

MAYA cat to Los Angeles, CA, USA
Dear Lisa and Bruce,
Just a quick note to let you know that Maya arrived safe and as sound as she ever is. It took about 3 hrs of back and forth to free her from the red tape but everyone was very nice. By the way its now a $US35 fee and they really want cash. No problem for me but might be for others.
She bounced back pretty quickly. Not eating much as yet but it is a lot warmer than she is used to. She is enjoying her treats and is drinking.
She is ready for the next adventure.

Thanks for your help.

KITTEN to Frankfurt, Germany
Hi Lisa,
The kitten is with us at home now. Everything was absolutely perfect. The kitten was clean as was the travelling box. She wasn't hungry or thirsty, just wanted to get out of the box IMMEDIATELY, what is quite understandable. She wasn't distraught, but confident and trustful. Of course here are a lot of things she has to learn, but she is very affectionate and fits in without any problems.
Thank you very much. I am so happy, that everything went so well and the kitten was obviously fine during its long journey.

Thanks again.
Cheers

NOTHING cat to Zurich, Switzerland
She's here and we've safely driven home from Zurich and she's pretty happy.
I think it was incredibly hot for her in the car with her winter coat
because she was hyperventilating and panting like a dog, so I let her out
of the cage and she sat on top of it and behaved herself on the way home.
She's now exploring her new home after happily lying down on the cold
bathroom tiles for a little while, has eaten and had water and seems
completely fine.
So thank you VERY MUCH for all your work on this project!  I'm very happy
that she's finally here..

Cheers,

A very big thank you to all of you for looking after Pickles so well.  He arrived a week ago Friday in very good condition and has settled in so well.  On the Saturday, he was out and about on his own, now sees other cats off “his” property and goes under the fence to the golf course which is just next door.  He just loves it.
Again, a very big thank you to all of you for all your assistance.
Catherine – could you please pass the above on to the driver who brought him up from London.  He was excellent to deal with and phoned on the Saturday to make sure everything was okay.  Very much appreciated.

DENVER & DHARMA maltese cross poodle to Sydney, Australia
Lisa
I just wanted to thank you for taking the initiative to sort out the
transport arrangements for Denver and Dharma. I have become familiar
with Kiwi's sorting stuff out like no one else over the past three years.
I am sure I will miss this on my return to Aussie or at best have much higher
service expectations than when I left.

Czarina
We are now in good shape thanks to the excellent local support we have
received from Venture Pets.  We personally delivered all
the necessary papers to Venture Pets so the paper work could be processed
in time for Denver and Dharma can travel on the same flights as Anne and I.

TUG & TALLIS labrador & springer  spaniel to London, UK
Hi Lisa and Bruce,
Just wanted to let you know the boys arrived 10mins early and we picked them up about 11am, all good, they are so remarkably resilient and have now had swim, walks, food and zonked out on 3 hour drive home, Tallis had unfortunate experience of needing a bath - not due to the travel but because he rolled in fox poo on his first walk!! Typical. So thank you for all that you did and keeping me calm, the new pet reception centre at heathrow is much better and whilst I wouldnt want to do it again I would certainly recommend your services to others.

Many thanks

Sarah, Tug and Tallis

Hi Lisa
Many, many thanks (and woof from Heidi) - you guys did a great job. By the
time all the paperwork was done and we'd had lunch (the workers here stop
for lunch every day), Heidi was ready for pick up.
She is sticking pretty close - surprise! - but has explored the house and
the extensive grounds and met the resident Lab. So far so good. Pretty
sure she'll like it here and the staff think she's pretty neat, too.

Thanks again - and we may see you in four years when we come back!

PEPPER chihuahua to London, UK
Hi Lisa
Pepper the long haired Chihuahua arrived at Heathrow, fit and well and raring to go in his new country. He has settled  well in West Cumbria loving walks on the beaches and the banks of the lakes.
We were concerned when we first planned the trip to how pepper would cope with the journey from NZ to the UK, but you and the team at Venture pet soon layed to rest any concerns we had with your advice and experience you showed with the handling of animals, it was gratifying that you understood worries of pet owners and how you kept in touch with us to what was happening.
I would have no hesitation in recommending your company to any travelers considering to transport their pets

Thanks to you and the team

JET & SILVER cocker spaniels to Toronto, Canada
Hi Lisa
I picked up Silver and Jet and they were very happy to see me (and I was very happy to see them), and they appeared to suffer no after effects from the flight.  The actual process to pick them up went smoothly and once I got them we went outside to a grassed verge and I gave them breakfast – which they promptly ate.  It’s great to have them back.  Thank you for all your help with the immigration arrangements and the rabies vaccination and testing.

STEFFI fox terrier to Cape Town, South Africa
Hello Lisa,
We have arrived safely in South Africa and would like to thank you for everything that you have done to assist us with the exporting of “steffi”.
She arrived safely but very tired in Cape Town. We had no problems with the airport personnel but as you know it is a very different story from New Zealand.
Thank you for your service and kindness.

Regards,

Johann and Nicoline Becker

XENA yorkshire terrier to Melbourne, Australia
Hi Bruce,
Just a quick note to say thank you very much for your assistance with getting our Xena from New Zealand to Australia.  We collected her from the Qantas freight depot last night, cost was only $33, and she was in perfect health.  We were so pleased to get your email with all the correct information after having had the two phone calls from Qantas with incorrect information.  Once again thanks very much for getting our precious Xena to us safe and sound.

TIMMY chihuahua cross to London, UK
Hi Lisa,
Timmy arrived safe and sound on Wednesday morning. When they brought him out, he was a little confused at first but then went crazy with excitement when he recognised us.
He was in very good spirits when he arrived, perky and happy and ready to explore his new home. I was expecting to see a stressed, tired little dog at the other end, but he was his old self, and didn't seem phased by the journey at all. Timmy is now fully adjusted to London life and is enjoying lots of walks along the River Thames.
Thank you so much for all your help getting him over here. We would certainly use Venture Pets again, given Timmy was clearly so well looked after.

Many thanks,
Isobel, Darryl and Timmy

MURPHY border collie to Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Hi Lisa and Bruce
Just to let you know Muphy arrived safe and sound.  He was fine once he realised he hadn't been abandoned and he had a reallllllly long pee on the grass in the cargo yard.  He was VERY happy to be out to the cage, it fitted fine in the car too.  So thanks for sending his over safely, he had plenty of water.  It cost 80euro in customs charges.  I got all his documents back no problem.  They are really into their paperwork - we had to get papers and take them over to customs and then bring them back and show our passports again and then they brought him out on a forklift.  We were the only ones allowed into the cargo premisis, Ruurds brother and wife had to get out of the car and wait it the cold - the dutchman there said 'this is not a supermarket'' and they could not come in.   We stopped at a big reserve just out of amsterdam and went for a long walk with murphy so he really enjoyed that.  Muphy is fine, we have just been out and walked around the village this morning.

Thanks for everything.

Rachel, Ruurd and Murphy :)

TAXI & BELLA labrador cross kelpie to Rarotonga, Cook Islands
Hi there - just to let you know Taxi and Bella arrived safely and in great shape this morning. The transition thru MAF/Customs and Air NZ went really smoothly and they were clear for me to pick up by 3.15 am our time. They were very pleased to get out of their cages and spend the rest of the night sleeping inside with me under the air conditioning. This morning they have been out on the deck and exploring their new front lawn looking longingly at the beach. Have attached a photo for you to see them at the front fence which goes down to the lagoon.
Many many thanks for your help and your care of them - it is always stressful moving animals around but I knew they were in great hands and that you had everything covered. And it was nice to know they were in good hands whilst delayed a day.

Look us up if you ever coming over here for a holiday - we easy to find via the NZ High Comm!

KATIE & BELLE cats to Perth, Australia
Hi Lisa
Both Katie and Belle arrived safetly and they looked healthy. They both had water containers and it was great to see them both. They were very well looked after on the flights, only because all the arrangements were done so well in Wgtn. They have both been exploring the house and found space in kids bedrooms to sleep in.
Thanks again and you are right, it feels we are a complete family now.
I will definetly recommend your services to family and friends.

Love to the family.
Cheers
Shabina and family.

HEMMINGWAY cat to Athens, Greece
Dear Lisa and Bruce,
Hemi arrived in great shape - a bit tired, thirsty, but otherwise fine. The customs process at the airport was truly byzantine - at least 15 officials had to sign half a dozen forms in three airport buildings...I was able to take Hemi away at 11am after a 4-hour paperwork maze...yikes. The Greeks do love their bureaucracy...It cost 57 euros to get him out (not bad when you think about it).

Thanks again for everything!

YODA chihuahua to Oslo, Norway
Hi Lisa,
thanks for everything. Yoda is safely in Oslo with me - hooray. He is not too impressed with all the white fluffy snow stuff though!!
There were a few problems with the pick up unfortunately but mostly sorted I think. The main thing still outstanding is the original rabies vacc did not arrive with him - only a photocopy, and I think I need the original if we want to head back to NZ at some stage. We have checked with customs here and Freight feeders and they didn't seem to know anything about it so if you are able to follow this up please. Thanks.
Also to let you know I had a particularly grumpy phone call (from customs I think) so when we were heading to the airport saying that we had filled in the wrong type of form for his arrival, and had also not notified the vet in advance of his arrival. Plus they didn't realise that he was coming through KL and were initially a bit dubious but seemed to work through it. Apparently I was responsible for these but as I didn't actually fill in the form, and didn't know I was suppose to notify the vet, I didn't really know anything about it. Also, they tried to get us to pay GST on his arrival but we managed to convince them not to since we weren't going to sell him or breed from him etc. Anyway - not really any major issues but thought I'd let you know for future reference if you're sending more dogs this way to be aware of. The main thing for me is he arrived safely and seems to be settling in so thank you for all you have done.

Cheers
Susie

Hi Bruce and Lisa,

SUMATRA labrador pup to Singapore
Hi:
Just to let you all know that Sumatra has safely arrived in singapore!  She bounced out of her kennel as if she'd just had a day at the park.  She is absolutely gorgeous and full of life.  On the way home, she alternated between chewing my hand, letting me rub her tummy, and curled up in my lap.  We introduced her briefly to Kawa, distributed lots of treats, and now we're hoping that we can get some sleep.  We took Sumi for a walk in the park, but she shows no signs of being ready to sleep!

JACK cat to Copenhagen, Denmark
Hi Lisa/Bruce,
Jack arrived safe and sound. You would never really know he was such a long flight at all. This morning he had his first outside adventure in the snow, and is rather pissed that there is no garden just for him - understandable as I feel slightly the same! Jack's eaten, napped, gone for lots of cuddles, and has taken it all in his stride, you'd never know that he was on a 30 hour flight with only water.
Thank you so much for the great care you took of him, and for making this move a great time for both us and Jack.
The paperwork wasn't that bad really, it was all to make sure he got into our new home safe and sound.

Again, thanks so much for all your hard work.

MANA labrador cross  to Paris, France
Hello Lisa & Bruce
Just a quick note to let you know that Mana has arrived safely in France we picked her up at Paris although we had an hours worth of paperwork to do!!! She is in good health and has adapted to life in France very easily.
On a personal note I wanted to thank you for your professional service, it is so nice to deal with a company that follows through to the end and is so pleasant to deal with. I feel that we left Mana in very safe and caring hands.
Once again thanks for all your effort and please feel free to use this email as a recommendation to any future customers.

Many thanks

FLOYD labrador to Brisbane, Australia
Hi Lisa
Just wanted to say thanks for all your efforts with Floyd.  He arrived safe and sound in Brisbane last night.  My son bought him a pigs ear for a treat and he was more interested in that than anything else so I guess his stress levels weren't too high!
I have recommended you guys to our local vet and a couple of other people who  I know are shipping pets soon.

Cheers and thanks again

PRINCESS cat to Tokyo, Japan
Hi Lisa,
Thank you for all of your help.  Princess arrived yesterday without a hitch and she is slowly getting used to her new home. She looks good (I think she has lost a bit of weight!) and is very snuggly (missed us I guess) so please pass on our thanks to the people at the Hillcrest Cat Motel who have obviously looked after her so well and once again thanks to you and VenturePet for making everything happen so smoothly.

Kind regards,

EMERALD cat to Singapore
Hi Lisa
Happy New Year to you too.  I was about to email you to let you know that we have picked up Emerald last night.  She’s been wondering around the apartment and finally came to bed with us.  Firstly, I want to thank you for looking after Emerald while she’s in NZ.  Can you pls give our personal thanks to the lady who picked her up and left a message on our phone of taking good care of her for us?
I have to say I wasn’t very impressed with the Singaporean officials the way how things were handled here.  Although Emerald doesn’t need to be quarantined, she arrived at 7pm and we didn’t get to pick her up till nearly 10pm. There were no instructions where she was supposed to be picked up and what documentations were required.  We were given numbers to call but every one of them seem to be telling us different instructions what we were needed. All they told us were to go the cargo terminal and our taxi driver didn’t even know where it was.  When we arrived at the airport, we left our passports at the apartment and we weren’t told that we need our passports even tho’ Craig already has a Singapore employment pass. We had to go back and get our passports!  We were given the ‘goose chase’ around.   Everything was pretty vague but it is an experience I supposed.  Had to say, nothing was straight forward probably a bit of lost in translation!
The most important thing is that Emerald got here safe and sound.
I would like to thank VenturePet and yourself again.

Cheers
Jeni

MACBETH scottish terrier to Hong Kong
Hi Lisa,
They did re-chip him.  What a horrible big needle they use as well!  They made us hold him down while they did it.  They didn’t care about his ISO chip and said it was HK law.  So we complied.
He is very pleased to be back with his mum and dad, and still won’t let us out of his sight.  Scotties are quite rare in HK so he is already drawing a lot of attention.
Thanks very much for all your assistance in getting him here.  He appears to have been very content when he arrived and we were very impressed at the size of his cage, he had stacks of room.

Kind regards,
Fleur & James

TRISTAN kitten to Cape Town, South Africa
Hi Lisa,
Tristan arrived in perfect condition. He had the run of the house when he arrived and then slept in my arms, snug as a baby. This morning he had some steamed Hake and was slowly introduced to the 14 kittens and later to their moms. He growls and hisses at all of them, but it won't be for long. Then he had some Royal Canin pellets , posed for the photo session and is now fast asleep on my bed on Lallie's jersey!  He does not even remember the long  journey!  Thanx once again for everything!!

Rgds,
Elmien

RUBY german shorthaired pointer to San Francisco, USA
Hi Lisa and Bruce
Ruby arrived safe and sound. A big thank you to VenturePet for your help and efficiency. Everyone who was involved in the handling of Ruby at SFO were clearly "dog people", and they treated Ruby like a princess, albeit a caged one!
She is thoroughly enjoying Minneapolis, has survived her rabies shots, and has her hunting mode fully activated when we go walking in the grasses around the lakes. She has already caught - and eaten - a mouse and a vole! She is very proud of that achievement.
I'm lucky to have such a  happy dog.

Regards

TIKI ocicat to Dubai, UAE
Hi Lisa
Tiki is great - racing around the apartment and we take her for walks outside in the garden on a harness so she can acclimatise.  And so we don't lose her!  The locals haven't seen anything like it.
And she likes her cage and goes back in it to drink water so she has travelled well. Thanks so much for allaying my fears!
Venture Pet was excellent.  They were recommended to us by two international removal companies which shows their reputation.  The easiest part of our move overseas was transporting the cat!  Lisa allayed my fears and answered all my questions.  She let me know everything we had to do and emailed through the invoice, receipt, MAF certificate etc.  Lisa kept everyone in the loop, including my husband in Dubai and the company collecting our cat at the other end of her journey.  I was very anxious about sending our cat to Dubai but she travelled well and is full of beans.  Thank you Venture Pet!

Cheers

LOOKIE toy poodle to Johor Bahru, Malaysia
Dear Lisa and the team
Thank you for your kind consideration about our dog, Lookie.
Yesterday, we took Lookie at Senai Airport, Johor Bahru, Malaysia and brought to our house, which will be stay for about 1 years.
We found that Lookie was very healthy and even healthier than the condition of staying with us in NZ.
How can we thank you and the team.  Especially, we would like to express our sincere thanks to Margaret, we can imagine how much she gave an attention to our dog, Lookie.
We earnestly believe that VenturePet will grow with an excellent service to the animal transport continously.

Yours sincerely

RONNIE   labradoodle to UK
Hi Bruce and Lisa,
Just to let you know that Ronnie arrived safe and well at Heathrow, and was taken to Wales by the agents in the UK.  He didn’t seem at all fazed by his long journey: he was in much better order than I usually am after that sort of flight!  He’s now settled in nicely to life in Wales...he’s already been to say hello to the local livestock, and everyone says how it’s obvious he’s a Kiwi, he’s so laid back about it all!
Thanks so much for looking after him so well.  I am sure he was so relaxed due to the good care you all took of him getting him through his checks and on to his flight.  Thanks, also, for letting us know his flight progress!  That was great!  We really couldn’t recommend Venture Pet highly enough to anyone needing to transport their dog: thanks so much for keeping in constant contact regarding Ronnie’s arrangements.  It really took all (well, most!) of the stress out of things for us!

Thanks again, and best regards,
Claire and Ronnie

POPPY dwarf springer spaniel to London, UK
Hi Lisa and Bruce
Poppy arrived all safe and sound! The import vet was so intrigued by Poppy that he had to take her photo!  Can't tell you how grateful I am for all your care in overseeing Poppy's travel back to the UK, she's perfectly fine and has settled in straight away, tears all round from the family she is so special to us all, I'll have to get her winter coat clipped as we're having a hot spell at the moment, it really is as if she's never been away at all!
Thank you all again so much, and I've given her plenty of hugs and cuddles from you, people can't believe she's such a globetrotter!

Lots of love and thanks

INDI, JACK & TEAGAN dogs to Hervey Bay, QLD, Australia
Hi Lisa & Bruce, thank you so much for your help and support transporting our dogs.
As you know this event for us was quite nerve racking, and without any experience doing this before we we're completely at the mercy of Venture Pet. All of our questions and concerns we're settled and our inexperience was of no problem at all, we cant recommend you're company to other worrying "parents" enough.
We we're really pleased with your agents in Aussie as well, the dogs obviously had no troubles as Teagan jumped back in the van while the last was being let out : ), also as far as the dogs we're concerned i'm sure they had no idea what just happened, no signs of stress or confusion or anything of the likes at all.
Of course if the future called for us to transport our dogs, Venture Pet will be the only one on the list.
Thank you very much again, if we can add to your web site recommending your services, please just ask.

Adam & Wendy

MOZART cat to San Francisco, USA
Hi Lisa,
Mozart arrived safely in the US and he was pleased to see the family again, as we were to see him.  I heard him
meowing in the distance before we saw him.  He was full of energy - hard to imagine after such a long flight - I wish I travelled as well.  He was off the plane and at the hangar in about 20 minutes - I think I will travel 'cargo' class
next time!  The collection at the airport went very smoothly and thank you for the very clear instructions in this
regard.  The collection fee was in fact $35.
He is home now and having a much needed nap after putting up with the excitement of the kids and each wanting to play with him and show him the cat toys they had waiting for him.
Many thanks for your very efficient service in reuniting a much loved member of the family.
Once again, thank you for an outstanding service.

Kind regards,
Noel

ALFIE cat to London, UK
Hi there Lisa,
I collected Alfie this morning!!! He was so sweet and looked absolutely fine. He has been bounding around the house like he's never been anywhere. I've just taken him around the garden on his lead and he is starting to tire again....think that has more to do with devouring half a tin of tuna when he arrived!!!!
Thank you so much for taking such good care of him and putting up with me!

SMOOCH cat to Calgary, Canada
Hi Lisa, Smooch arrived here safely, thank you, and is settling down.  He seems to have weathered his journey well, better than us, in fact!!!  His grandparents are showering him with attention, which he is lapping up.  Just in case you have any other animals come this way, I'll tell you what happened once we were in Canada.  When we went to pick him up in Calgary we were sent to Canada Customs for processing of the forms about a 10 minute drive away from the cargo hanger.  Once there we were told that a Customs officer had to sight Smooch before the form could be processed...so we waited for about 30 minutes before we paid $31.50 and had the form stamped.  We then went back to the Air Canada cargo hanger and paid another fee, about $36.00, to Air Canada.  So after about an hour and a half we finally got Smooch.  I thought you might like to know the process so you can forewarn others in the future.
Thanks again,

Katherine, Corrick, and Smooch.

CADBURY cat to Port Vila, Vanuatu
Hi Lisa , Cadbury arrived safely, thank you.  There was a bit of a delay doing the paperwork at the airport this end in 35 degrees plus , after a few hours in airconditioning (luxury, we don't use it for ourselves!) he settled down and now seems fine.
Thank you very much for your help.

SASHA cat to San Francisco, USA
Hi Lisa,
Sasha is here with us now, and nicely recovered.  We had a fast pickup at SFO, very easy.  She immediately set to exploring our new rental home, was a bit loud throughout this, and then when we returned from errands she seemed happy and fine as usual.   She even seems still fond of her cage -- later in the evening when we began to clean it, we had a hard time keeping her out of it!?  We think she might have to sleep in it tonight, to keep the comfort of the habit.
Thanks so much for your help.  We're much relieved that Sasha is happy, healthy, and forgiving!
Cheers

BINGO border collie to Warsaw, Poland
Hi Lisa, have arrived safely in Warsaw and then drove 350 km to Krakow with a couple stops. Bingo customs took over 3 hrs as a woman who supposed to stamp papers was busy with other inspection. This was quite annoying as I saw & spoke to Bingo but couldn't take him out of the cage. He was initially a bit confused and didn't recognise me for 30 - 40 sec & then huge joy & said - take me home (whatever home meant). He was hungry & tired but happy. Found him clean and pretty shiny.  Bingo got used to the new place by now and enjoys walks in the neighbouring forest. He has already met new mates & runs around the property (the house is located about 15-20 km from the city centre) as the weather is quite good (-2 C min up to + 8 C max) for winter & no rain to speak of.
Once more thank you so much for looking after Bingo and being so helpful and informative.

All the best

Bingo & Julian
